Seeing is believing!

Dirty windshields create hazardous driving conditions!  Inside and outside dirt, grime, and haze impair visibility.  The National Weather Service cautions about the seriousness of sun glare on driving visibility and the AAA Foundation states that these contaminants "catch and refract light" from headlights to create glare.

Keeping your windshield clean reduces glare and creates a safer driving environment.  Having the right tools makes the job easier. We recommend using Mircrofiber towels and Glass Cleaner (optional bug sponge).**

**a microfiber towel grabs the dirt and pulls it away. (Unlike a paper towel which pushes it around and creates scratches).  An ammonia-free Glass Cleaner is safer to use on your car.  Ammonia has been know to crack and discolor rubber and vinyl.**

Once you have the right tools, you can begin with the outside.

Spray the cleaner liberally on the window, avoiding runs. Wipe in one direction during the first wiping application. Use the towel to wipe the cleaner off and let the window dry a minute. Once the window is wiped clean, flip your towel to the other side and wipe in the opposite direction to remove any remaining streaks.

For the inside, we recommend following the steps above, but spray your cleaner onto your towel and not directly onto the interior windshield.  This will reduce product waste and keep the the product directly on the glass.
